Role Overview
We are seeking
Workday Automation Engineers with functional expertise in Workday and a keen interest in transitioning into
test automation and AI-driven quality engineering. This role combines functional knowledge with automation capabilities to drive scalable, high-quality enterprise implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand Workday business processes across HCM, Finance, or Integrations
- Translate functional workflows into automated test scenarios using the Opkey platform
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and reusable test assets
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure test coverage
- Support release cycles, regression testing, Workday weekly runs and Bi annual releases
- Contribute to building and enhancing automation accelerators and frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, coverage, and quality
- Participate in client onboarding and implementation activities
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge/experience working with Workday (HCM / Finance / Integrations)
- Experience in Workday support, or COE environments
- Strong understanding of business processes and configurations in Workday
- Exposure to software testing concepts (manual or automated)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and release management
- Exposure to integration testing and data validation
- Familiarity with AI-driven or model-based testing approaches
