About the Role
We are looking for a skilled SAP Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and/or Python-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for SAP applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and/or Python-based automation tools
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure application stability
- Perform functional testing of SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA)
- Identify, log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams
- Ensure smooth test execution cycles, including regression and integration testing
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test data preparation
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Ensure adherence to software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Testing and Test Automation
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- UFT (Unified Functional Testing) – Primary skill
- OR Python-based automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, etc.)
- Experience in creating and executing automation test scripts
- Good understanding of SAP functional processes (any module exposure is acceptable)
- Solid knowledge of:
- Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools
- Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of issues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in AI-driven testing / intelligent test automation tools
- Exposure to test optimization techniques or self-healing automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools
- Basic understanding of performance or API testing
Soft Skills
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
