Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation scripts for iOS, Android, and web applications
• End-to-end ownership of automation test cycles — from creation to closure
• Execute and analyze automated test results; track and report defects
• Write functional, UAT, regression, performance, and deployment test scenarios
• Contribute to improving testing frameworks, tools, and processes
• Participate in code reviews and support CI/CD pipelines
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation

Job Description

Design and develop automation test scripts for iOS, Android mobile applications and web applications.

End to End ownership of the Automation Test Cycle of any given application - Create, Update, Debug, Execute, Reporting and Analysis, communication, follow up and closure.

Contributing to the improvement of automated testing from manual test scenarios • Perform any QA/testing related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Investigate problems, finding root causes, clearly document findings and be a strong advocate on behalf of the end user.

Creating and maintaining quality system documents and artefacts

Taking a planned, self-directed approach to authoring automated test scripts mobile and web applications

Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting defects or issues.

Contribute to the improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Participate in code reviews, providing insights and suggestions for testability improvements. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation, suggesting and implementing innovative solutions.

Writing Functional, User Acceptance, Deployment, Scalability and Performance Test scenarios • Identifying the Regression Test cases for Automation.

Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and exception handling issues.

Organizing, monitoring defect management process.
