Automation Test Engineer

• JS Based Frameworks/Tools like Playwright, Cypress/ Hybrid Frameworks with Selenium. Test Planning, Agile/Scrum, DevOps Basic Workflow Understanding
• Follow the automation strategy and roadmap, work based on priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, define test requirements, and prioritize test cases for automation
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, test suites, and test frameworks to ensure efficient and comprehensive test coverage
• Establish and maintain best practices for test automation, including code standards, version control, continuous integration and maximize test coverage.
• Lead the creation of test plans and test strategies, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Monitor and report on automation progress, test coverage, and test results to stakeholders, making data-driven decisions to improve quality
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Support team on troubleshooting for complex scenarios, suggest and amend framework to handle challenges
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in test automation, and make recommendations for adoption as appropriate.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure timely execution of tests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) with a strong focus on automated testing
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and test scripts using Selenium/Playwright/ Cypress or related technologies.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JS/TS, Python, or C#.
