about the role

we are hiring a skilled automation test engineer with strong hands-on experience in playwright using javascript/typescript. the role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and driving continuous improvement in qa processes.

key responsibilitiesautomation development

• design and maintain end-to-end automation scripts using playwright (js/ts).
• build scalable automation frameworks for web and api testing.
• develop reusable, maintainable, and modular automation components.

test planning & execution

• analyze requirements and convert them into automation test cases.
• integrate automated suites into ci/cd pipelines (github actions, jenkins, azure devops, etc.).
• execute automated suites, analyze failures, and provide quick feedback to developers.

quality assurance

• perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing through automation.
• collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
• ensure optimal test coverage for new features and enhancements.

documentation & reporting

• maintain clear documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and processes.
• provide structured reports on test execution, defects, and automation coverage.

technical qualifications

• strong hands-on experience with playwright for ui automation (mandatory).
• proficiency in javascript / typescript.
• experience in web application automation; exposure to api automation is a plus.
• solid understanding of test design techniques, automation patterns, and best practices.
• experience with git/github/bitbucket and ci/cd pipelines.
• familiarity with reporting tools like allure, extent, or playwright test reporter.
