About The Role
we are hiring a skilled automation test engineer with strong hands-on experience in
playwright using javascript/typescript. the role involves designing scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and driving continuous improvement in qa processes.
key responsibilitiesautomation development
- design and maintain end-to-end automation scripts using playwright (js/ts).
- build scalable automation frameworks for web and api testing.
- develop reusable, maintainable, and modular automation components.
test planning & execution
- analyze requirements and convert them into automation test cases.
- integrate automated suites into ci/cd pipelines (github actions, jenkins, azure devops, etc.).
- execute automated suites, analyze failures, and provide quick feedback to developers.
quality assurance
- perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing through automation.
- collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
- ensure optimal test coverage for new features and enhancements.
documentation & reporting
- maintain clear documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and processes.
- provide structured reports on test execution, defects, and automation coverage.
technical qualifications
- strong hands-on experience with playwright for ui automation (mandatory).
- proficiency in javascript / typescript.
- experience in web application automation; exposure to api automation is a plus.
- solid understanding of test design techniques, automation patterns, and best practices.
- experience with git/github/bitbucket and ci/cd pipelines.
- familiarity with reporting tools like allure, extent, or playwright test reporter.
