Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and AI-driven testing approaches. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks to ensure product quality and performance. Experience in the Supply Chain, Serialization, and Traceability domain is highly preferred, as the role involves testing solutions that support global pharmaceutical compliance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
• Implement AI-driven testing strategies to improve coverage, defect detection, and execution efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing to ensure product stability.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution with the development team.
• Drive best practices in test automation, code quality, and documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and emerging practices in automation and AI testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with AI-based testing frameworks (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools, or custom ML models for testing).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Strong experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, Hybrid frameworks).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Domain Experience

• Testing solutions in Supply Chain, Serialization, and Pharmaceutical Traceability.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., DSCSA, EU FMD, CIS, GCC).
• Familiarity with EPCIS, aggregation, and partner integration testing.

• Nice to Have
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
• Familiarity with compliance-driven testing in pharma/life sciences.

• Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
