Automation Test Engineer | Java, Selenium, API, Cloud

Spes Manning Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our technical team. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong experience in Java, Selenium, REST API testing, and cloud technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust automated test frameworks, ensuring the quality and performance of our applications, and contributing to a high-standard testing culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Perform REST API testing using industry-standard tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the quality and performance of our SaaS-based applications.
• Participate in cloud-based testing, covering key areas like storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Identify, log, and track bugs in close coordination with the QA team.
• Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to improve overall quality metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Proven experience with API testing for RESTful services.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts, including storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Exposure to SaaS-based platforms and architecture.
• A solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• An ISTQB or similar certification would be a plus.
