Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in the Banking domain to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Rest Assured, with a solid understanding of banking workflows and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
- Automate functional and regression test cases for banking applications (e.g., account management, transactions, loan processing).
- Perform API testing for RESTful services using Rest Assured.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation suites.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with banking standards and security protocols during testing.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Proficiency in Rest Assured for API testing.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
- Good understanding of banking workflows and domain-specific testing.
