Role: Automation Team Leader

Location: Chennai / Mumbai

Experience: 6+ Years

Industry: Shipping / Logistics / Business Process Automation

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor automation developers and manage workload/resource allocation.
Own end-to-end automation delivery from requirement analysis → development → testing → deployment → support.
Identify business processes for automation, simplification and process improvement.
Work closely with Business, IT, Process Owners and global stakeholders.
Review automation solutions, architecture, coding, testing and technical standards.
Manage multiple automation projects, timelines, risks, dependencies and resources.
Track productivity/FTE savings, cost reduction, quality and efficiency benefits.
Handle production issues, RCA, incident management and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption of AI/GenAI, intelligent automation and emerging technologies.

Must-Have Skills:

8+ years of experience in Automation / RPA / Process Transformation / Software Development.
Proven team leadership and automation project delivery experience.
Strong experience in RPA / Blue Prism / Power Automate.
Hands-on knowledge of VBA & Excel Automation, SQL, APIs and Web Automation.
Experience with SDLC, Agile, testing, deployment and production support.
Strong stakeholder management, solution design and delivery management skills.
Experience managing multiple automation initiatives and developers.
Knowledge of AI/GenAI, process mining or cloud technologies is an advantage.
