Mandatory Requirement: Hands-on Production Experience in AccelQ

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own and drive automation quality across our SaaS platform. This role focuses on end-to-end product workflows, release stability, and scalable automation embedded into CI/CD processes.

The ideal candidate thinks beyond individual test scripts and takes ownership of automation strategy, coverage, reliability, and integration across development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Ownership

  • Own and drive the test automation strategy using AccelQ.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for:
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • Integration testing
  • Ensure automation is scalable, maintainable, and reliable.

CI/CD Integration

  • Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to ensure continuous quality validation.

Early Quality Engagement

  • Review requirements and user stories to define test scenarios early in the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure strong test coverage before releases.

Quality & Release Assurance

  • Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
  • Ensure production-ready releases with high stability.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute to improving QA metrics, standards, and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation maturity.

Mentorship

  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices and AccelQ usage.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of overall experience in QA.
  • Strong focus on test automation.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with AccelQ (production-level usage required).
  • Experience automating:
  • Web applications
  • APIs
  • Strong understanding of:
  • SDLC
  • Agile methodologies
  • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to write structured test scenarios and manage test data.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

  • Experience with SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Basic SQL knowledge and backend validation experience.
  • Experience in high-release-frequency, fast-paced teams.
