Role Description This full-time Automation Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with the flexibility for some work-from-home. The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for industrial and commercial systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operations. Daily responsibilities include configuring and programming automation and control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing process control strategies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing system designs, and supporting the integration of robotics and electrical components into existing workflows. The Automation Engineer will also document technical work, adhere to safety and compliance standards, and provide timely support to stakeholders, with an expectation of immediate joining.
Qualifications
- Minimum exp of 3 years
- Strong skills in Automation and Process Control to design, implement, and optimize automated systems.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles for system design, integration, and safety compliance.
- Experience with Robotics and related technologies for deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex automation and control issues to minimize downtime.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in hybrid teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and industry best practices in automation.
