Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in test automation and hands-on exposure to AWS services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports
- Ensure test coverage and improve test efficiency through automation best practices
- Work with AWS-based environments for testing and validation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in QA automation
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Exposure to security testing practices
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
