Responsibilities:
Test Automation – Framework Development & Leadership
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable, modular test automation framework using Selenium WebDriver with C# (.NET)
- Establish coding standards, patterns (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven), and best practices for the automation codebase
- Integrate automation suite with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions)
- Drive adoption of BDD using SpecFlow / Cucumber where applicable
- Continuously optimise test execution time, stability, and reporting (Allure / ExtentReports)
- Evaluate and recommend additional automation tools and libraries to complement the stack
WMS Functional Testing
- Own end-to-end test strategy and test planning for WMS modules including:
- Inbound / Receiving – ASN processing, putaway, cross-docking
- Outbound / Shipping – order management, pick/pack/ship, wave planning
- Inventory Management – cycle counts, adjustments, lot/serial tracking, FIFO/FEFO
- Labour Management, Slotting, Yard Management (as applicable)
- Integration touchpoints – ERP (SAP/Oracle), TMS, EDI, RF/mobile devices
- Create and maintain comprehensive test artifacts: test plans, test cases, RTMs, defect reports
- Conduct SIT, UAT support, regression, and performance testing for WMS releases and patches
- Validate WMS configuration changes and customisations against business rules
Lead-Level Activities
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of 3–6 QA engineers (manual + automation)
- Define and govern the overall QA process, standards, and quality gates across the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to estimate QA effort and manage test schedules
- Facilitate defect triage meetings and drive timely resolution with development and business teams
- Produce and present QA metrics, dashboards, and executive-level test summary reports
- Act as primary QA point-of-contact for stakeholders, clients, and offshore/onshore teams
Required Skills & Experience
WMS Domain Expertise
- 8+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years specifically testing WMS platforms
- Hands-on experience with leading WMS platforms (e.g., Körber/Swisslog/UCS VLN /SAP HANA etc)
- Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain operations, business processes, and data flows
- Experience in WMS implementations, upgrades, or rollouts
Test Automation – Selenium & C#
- Proven track record of building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium WebDriver + C# (.NET / .NET Core)
- Experience with Browserstack and Allure Reports
- BDD/TestNG framework experience is highly desirable
- Hands-on CI/CD integration: Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Source control: Git (branching strategies, PR reviews, code quality gates)
- Experience in API automation are added advantage
Testing Skills
- Strong expertise in test strategy, test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value, risk-based testing)
- Experience with defect lifecycle management tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/QC
- Familiarity with SQL / database testing to validate WMS data integrity
- Knowledge of RF/mobile device and label/printing validation in WMS context
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced) – Test Automation Engineer specialisation preferred
- Experience with performance/load testing tools: JMeter
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery methodologies
- Experience in Flutter framework and Mobile automation skills are added advantage
