Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities 

• Troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and Servo systems.
• Handling VFDs, electrical control panels, CNC, and VMC machines.
• Development and troubleshooting of laser marking systems and vision systems.
• Experience in servo modification and servo troubleshooting.
• Working with LabVIEW (NI software) for automation and testing applications.
• Hands-on experience with 6-axis robots and sticker printers.
• Managing spares inventory and spare parts planning.
• Ensuring minimum downtime through proactive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve automation-related issues.
• Supporting new automation developments and continuous improvements.

Key skills required 

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
• Knowledge of SCADA interfacing and interlocks.
• Good understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Hands-on experience in servo, VFD, and robotic applications.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple breakdowns.
