Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories
- Drive infrastructure and security automation across IT/Security environments
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure, and Security teams for integration
- Ensure standardization, scalability, and reusability of automation code
- Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for automation
- Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize performance
- Manage configuration drift and ensure compliance with security standards
- Participate in architecture discussions and automation roadmap planning
- Provide technical guidance and support during incidents and escalations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation
- Experience in creating Ansible Playbooks and custom plugins
- Solid knowledge of Linux system administration
- Hands-on experience with YAML, Python, Bash/Shell scripting
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts
- Hands-on experience with EDA, AAP, Lightspeed, RHEL/RHOS AI, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Ansible Automation Platform, Event Driven Ansible, Ansible Lightspeed, AWX experience
- Red Hat certifications (RHCE/RHCA)
- Basic understanding of security concepts would be an added advantage
- Experience in enterprise-scale automation environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Ansible Automation and creating enterprise / production playbooks.
