We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Lead to drive the automation testing efforts for web and mobile applications. The role involves designing scalable frameworks, leading automation initiatives using Tosca and Selenium, mentoring QA team members, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Automation Initiatives: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca and Selenium for multiple applications.
- Framework Development: Architect and implement scalable and reusable automation frameworks; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
- Automation Metrics: Define and track KPIs for automation efforts including test coverage, execution time, defect density, and ROI; generate regular reports for stakeholders.
- Driving Project End-to-End: Own the complete automation testing lifecycle from requirement analysis to test execution and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Mentor QA engineers in test automation best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation strategies and roadmaps aligned with project goals.
- Test Execution: Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to development teams ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and tools; advocate for automation adoption.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and automation processes to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
- Certified Test Engineer (CTE)
Work Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of directly related experience in system/software quality and testing.
- QA Lead experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tosca and Selenium.
