Job Opening: Automation Engineer – Siemens PLC Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens PLC systems. This position involves programming, commissioning, and service support for industrial automation projects across diverse sectors. • Develop, commission, and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs using STEP 7 (Classic) and TIA Portal (V13–V19).
• Design and implement automation logic for machinery and production lines.
• Create and modify HMI/SCADA screens using WinCC, WinCC Flexible, or compatible systems.
• Work with PLC families: S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500.
• Conduct field testing, debugging, and on-site support during installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with electrical/mechanical teams for seamless integration.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and program logic.

• Strong proficiency with Siemens automation tools: STEP 7, TIA Portal.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens HMI/SCADA platforms.
• Familiarity with Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, actuators, and other industrial components.
• Exposure to other PLC brands (e.g., Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi) is an added advantage.
• Experience with robotic integration or motion control systems is a plus.

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and in collaborative team settings.
