Role Overview
AlgoShack is hiring Automation Engineers across multiple experience levels to work on desktop and web automation for Windows-based applications. The role involves building and executing automation solutions, with a focus on Python-based TestComplete and Selenium frameworks.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of automation testing concepts
- Hands-on experience with Python and TestComplete (Primary skill)
- Experience with Java + Selenium (Secondary skill)
- Experience in Desktop automation (Windows-based applications)
- Understanding of UI automation and test case design
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with GitHub or similar version control tools
- Knowledge of test frameworks and automation best practices
- Exposure to Healthcare domain is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for desktop and web applications
- Work on Windows-based desktop automation using TestComplete
- Design, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results and report defects
- Ensure test coverage and quality across releases
- Follow coding standards and best practices in automation
