About Position
We are seeking a skilled UI Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for modern web applications. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high product quality across releases.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Page Object Model and best practices
- Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases
- Execute test runs and analyze results to identify defects and bottlenecks
- Perform API testing along with UI automation where required
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Log, track, and validate defects using JIRA
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environment
- Ensure test coverage, stability, and maintainability of automation assets
- Prepare test reports and automation metrics for stakeholders
Expertise You'll Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience in cross-browser testing and end-to-end automation
- Strong understanding of DOM handling and UI automation concepts
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Knowledge of Page Object Model and data-driven testing frameworks
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with Selenium or Cypress
- Exposure to cloud-based test execution
- Basic knowledge of SQL for test data validation
- Awareness of performance and accessibility testing
