Position: Automation Engineer – Service (Honeywell Platform)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer – Service with hands-on exposure to the Honeywell platform to support automation projects, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance activities for industrial process control systems.
The ideal candidate should have experience in PLC/DCS systems, system support activities, and industrial automation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for PLC and DCS-based automation systems.
- Work on Honeywell automation platforms, with exposure to systems such as Siemens and Allen-Bradley being an added advantage.
- Develop and modify control logic, graphics, alarms, and HMI/SCADA functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and retrofit projects.
- Coordinate with instrumentation, electrical, and process engineering teams for implementation activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- Logic diagrams
- Loop diagrams
- I/O lists
- Cause & Effect matrices
- Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or process control systems.
- Hands-on exposure to Honeywell DCS/SCADA platforms.
- Basic understanding of PLC/DCS architecture and industrial communication protocols.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning activities, if required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
