Role Description The Automation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for pharmaceutical packaging machinery, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. Daily responsibilities include configuring and programming control systems, integrating electrical and mechanical components, and optimizing process control strategies. The role involves diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production teams with technical guidance. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document system changes, adhere to safety and regulatory standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for industrial machinery and systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering knowledge, including control panels, sensors, and industrial wiring practices.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Robotics and related motion control or mechatronic systems.
• Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving automation, electrical, and control system issues.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments and applicable safety standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
