We are hiring a skilled PLC Programming Engineer with 23 years of experience in industrial automation and
control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SIEMENS, Allen Bradley, FUJI and
similar PLC platforms, along with strong SCADA development skills. A good understanding of
instrumentation, field devices, and P&ID development is essential. Preference will be given to candidates
with experience in Process and/or HVAC automation and exposure to IoT technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and test PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley, Fuji, etc.) for automation projects.
- Develop and configure SCADA/HMI systems as per process requirements.
- Integrate sensors, transmitters, valves, and field instruments with control systems.
- Create and modify P&ID diagrams based on project specifications.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOQ) and control system documentation.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth execution of automation tasks.
- Explore and implement IoT-based solutions for monitoring and data acquisition.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in PLC programming Siemens (TIA Portal, S7), Allen Bradley (RSLogix), Fuji, etc.
- Experience in SCADA development (e.g., WinCC, FactoryTalk, iFIX, etc.)
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, field wiring, and control logic.
- Ability to create and read P&IDs, control panel drawings, and I/O lists.
- Exposure to IoT platforms, communication protocols (Mod bus, OPC, MQTT), and edge devices.
Soft Skills & Communication
- Excellent communication skills in English spoken and written.
- Ability to create technical documentation, reports, and email communications clearly.
- Confident and professional in client discussions and project meetings.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for engineering presentations and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 23 years of relevant experience in industrial/process/HVAC automation.
- Field commissioning and project execution experience is a strong plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
