Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe depends on stable, secure, and scalable automation systems. In this role, you will contribute directly to that mission by working on
SVT orchestration, softbot development, and robot configuration that enable smooth communication between Tier‑1 WMS platforms and robotic systems in live warehouses.
You will support
day‑to‑day operations, contribute to
incident investigation and resolution, and work closely with other IT teams, automation specialists, and robotics vendors when complex issues arise. From configuration changes to go‑live support, your work will have a visible impact on real warehouse operations.

As a
Backend / Automation Engineer – SVT Robotics, experience with
SVT Robotics Orchestration and softbot development is a strong advantage. Very good knowledge of
automation workflows, integration logic, and data transformations will be an integral part of this role.
You are passionate about
technology and automation, with a solid understanding of
robot configuration, WMS integrations, REST APIs, and message-based communication (JSON/XML). You are comfortable working independently, organizing your work, and prioritizing tasks in a production environment.
Working in a multinational setup, you will collaborate with teams across regions and time zones, therefore
strong spoken and written English skills are essential.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience with SVT Robotics Orchestration or similar automation/orchestration platforms
- Hands-on experience with softbot or integration workflow development
- Understanding of robot configuration and warehouse automation flows
- Data transformation and message mapping skills (JSON, XML)
- Experience integrating with Manhattan Active WMS and/or Blue Yonder.
- REST API integration experience
- Version control using Git
- Experience supporting live systems, go‑lives, and hypercare is a plus
