Automation Engineer - BPMS

Cradlepoint is seeking an Automation Engineer - BPMS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building customer-centric solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and integrating Business Process Management (BPM) systems and services, primarily leveraging WebMethods technologies. You will ensure that delivered software components meet business requirements and customer expectations in terms of functionality and performance.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate BPM solutions and services using the WebMethods suite (Designer, Integration Server, MWS, JDBC Adapters).
• Administer WebMethods environments, including production deployments, testing, support, and maintenance activities.
• Develop, debug, and enhance code components, and write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams within Cradlepoint for integration, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

What You Will Bring: Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in WebMethods and BPM.
• Education: B.Tech or equivalent.
• WebMethods Expertise: Proven experience in development and integration using WebMethods (Designer, Integration Server, MWS, JDBC Adapters).
• Web Services & Data Formats: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP), WSDL, XML, flat files, and SQL.
• Programming & Databases: Good knowledge of Java programming and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• SDLC: Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.

Advantageous Skills

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Agile ways of working.
