Automation Engineer Advisor - HIH - Evernorth

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand front-end and back-end architecture to formulate effective test strategies
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, QE teams, and developers to define testable scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL and Python for backend validation
• Participate in sprint-level, integration, and regression test planning and execution
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to accelerate delivery and ensure repeatability
• Determine test priorities, create effective execution plans, and perform manual and automation testing as required
• Perform defect reporting, triaging, and analysis of failure patterns to implement corrective actions
• Implement test suites and automation frameworks to cover end-to-end testing scenarios
• Define testing criteria based on business requirements and design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios
• Perform functional, integration, release, and regression testing
• Develop scripts for automated testing and leverage automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and BDD with Cucumber for API testing
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to leverage data for business and client needs
• Assist analysts, SMEs, and developers with data integration and transformation analysis
• Conduct impact analysis, document key issues, and support defect triage processes
• Adhere to Quality Engineering best practices and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies
