Job Description

We are hiring for Automation Developer & Observability Tools Professionals.

Weekend Drive: 06th December 25.

Exp: 3 to 5 Yrs, 5 to 10 Yrs

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Notice Period: Less than 90 days

Level: A/SA

Position 1: Splunk Observability (Splunk Cloud/Splunk ITIS with L3/L4 resources)

JD for the Splunk Observability Log and ITIS

  • Proficient with Splunk architecture and various components (Indexer, Forwarder, Search Head, Deployment Server), Heavy and Universal forwarder.
  • Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen, Thawed bucketing.
  • Expert on configuration files in SPLUNK (Inputs.conf, Output.conf, Indexes.conf, Props.conf and Transforms.conf).
  • Strong understanding of Splunk data ingestion, parsing, and indexing mechanisms
  • Implemented Splunk apps and add-ons to extend functionality and meet specific observability requirements.
  • Developed automated scripts for Splunk maintenance tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in creating Splunk searches, Dashboards, and alerts for Monitoring System Health and Performance.
  • Experience in Splunk Upgradation
  • Upgrade the Apps/Add-ons to make compatible with Latest Splunk Version
  • Design and build ITSI Services, Service Trees, and KPIs aligned to business transactions.
  • Create Notable Events, Episode Review workflows, and correlation searches.
  • Develop glass tables, dashboards, and deep dives for real-time service health monitoring.
  • Configure and manage KPI thresholds, adaptive thresholds, and health score models.
  • Optimize KPI searches for performance and data accuracy.

Position 2: Automation Developer (Ansible Playbooks & Tower)

Job Description

  • Ansible, Terraform, Tower / AWX / AAP, GitLab, PowerShell, Python & Shell Scripting
  • Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises
  • Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
  • Define and setup the process for managing Ops developed playbooks
  • Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
  • Auto configuration of standalone or cluster for middleware and database infrastructures, including the provisioning of Middleware and Database components after system builds.
  • Generate auto start/stop scripts, auto registration to load balancers, creation / cloning of database schemas using Ansible.
  • Generalize the ops playbooks for other environments and feedback / handover to the Platform Solutions team (where appropriate).
  • Provide advice and recommendation to improve the standards and policies (naming and organization conventions, etc) for the platform environment.
  • Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage

Terraform

  • Strong knowledge of Terraform modules, Variable, State Management and Workspaces
  • Experience with Terraform Cloud or Enterprise
  • Ability to write reusable, scalable and version-controlled IaC code
  • Understanding of Terraform Plan, apply, destroy and import

Position 3: VRA/VRO Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using VMware vRealize Automation (VRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (VRO).
  • Integrate VRA/VRO with external systems and APIs for end-to-end automation.
  • Develop custom scripts using PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript for workflow enhancements and automation tasks.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows and integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in automation solutions.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices for automation implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with VMware vRealize Automation (VRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (VRO).
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in developing and managing automation workflows and blueprints in VRA.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with third-party tools.
