General Summary:

API and UI Testing1. Create test plans, test cases and test data for integration testing.2. Perform REST API Validation including request , response headers , authentication and status codes.3. Validate policy enforcements , response behaviors in API/Apigee proxies.4. Test for caching , fault handling and security in API/Apigee proxies.5. Perform non functional testing like Performance, Load, Stress, Security, compatibility and usability testing with industry standard / internal tools.6. Provide UAT and PROD support.API and UI Automation1. Design , Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API proxies.2. Design , Develop and maintain automated test scripts for integrating web applications using Selenium / Java or similar technologies3. Develop data driven test scenarios using automation frameworksCI/CD Integration:1. Integrate automated API Tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions)Tools & Frameworks.1. Use API Testing tools like postman , RestAssured , JMeter.2. Use Selenium/Java or related technologies for UI/DB testingReporting1. Generate detailed Test reports and maintain test suites.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR

5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelors degree.

Requirements:-------------------1. 4-6 years of experience in API Testing and Automation.2. Strong hands-on experience with API Testing tools e.g.Postman , Rest Assured3. Strong hand-on experience with Web automation tools eg. Selenium, Playwright3. Proficiency in Test automation frameworks using Java/Python.4. Good understanding in RESTful API's , HTTP methods , response codes , headers.5. Experience in OAuth2.0 validations and other security policies.6. Experience with few non-functional testing types- Performance, Load, Stress, Security, Compatibility, Usability7. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub ActionsSoft

Skills:

Need to work closely with SA/Dev/QA team members to understand requirements, prepare test cases execute them, and identify/report defects in functionality.

Should have good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Must be able to work with other team members around the globe (US, Europe...), to provide required support (sometime during early morning and evening hours).

Overall 4-6 Years of experience in testing (Manual, Automation)
