Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Analyst to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, scripting, and DevOps practices, with a focus on enhancing system efficiencies and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for IT infrastructure management.
• Utilize Python and PowerShell scripting to automate processes and enhance system efficiencies.
• Apply DevOps practices to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
• Integrate and manage APIs for various services and applications within the IT infrastructure.
• Utilize version control systems to manage code and automate deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Analyze logs and metrics using ELK stack, Dynatrace, or Splunk to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve overall IT service management.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IT infrastructure automation and management.
• Proficient in Python and PowerShell scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with API integration and management.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of ITSM tools, preferably BMC Helix and ITSM Helix Remedy.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with log management and analytics using ELK stack.
• Ability to write and understand shell scripts for automation.
