The Automated Operations Engineer PS Core is responsible for 24×7 monitoring, fault detection, incident management, and service assurance of network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance as per defined SLAs.

About this opportunity :
The Automated Operations Engineer PS Core is responsible for 24×7 monitoring, fault detection, incident management, and service assurance of network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance as per defined SLAs.
What you will do:
- Monitor network, servers, and applications using NMS/EMS tools
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network alarms and incidents
- Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting for network, transmission, and service issues
- Raise, update, and manage trouble tickets with internal teams and vendors
- Escalate incidents as per defined escalation matrix
- Coordinate with field teams, OEMs, and service providers
- Track SLA/KPI compliance and ensure timely resolution
- Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance
- Prepare incident reports, RCA inputs, and shift handover notes
- Support change activities and maintenance windows
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
- Knowledge of telecom networks (2G/3G/4G/5G preferred)
- Familiarity with RAN, RNC, BSC, SNMP, GTP, SIP, GPRS, SGSN, GGSN, Packet Core
- Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Netcool, Nagios)
- Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA)
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
