Autocad Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD technician/drafter with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ability to implement quality control systems.

· Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings, layouts, and plans according to project requirements.

· Interpret and analyze sketches, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate and precise drafts.

· Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings meet design standards and project objectives.

· Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the design process.

· Maintain organized files and documentation for all drafting projects to ensure accessibility and traceability.

· Work with the project engineer to enable delivery of major projects.

· Participate in resource management meetings.

· Attends inter-discipline coordination meetings as required.

· Ability to supervise and manage a team of technicians and train junior technicians.
