AutoCAD & SolidWorks Designer

Job Description:

Shikhar Automation Private Limited is seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support our industrial automation and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and assembly designs while ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Create and modify technical drawings, assembly models, and BOMs for manufacturing.

Ensure accurate dimensioning, tolerances (GD&T), and material specifications.

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.

Review and improve existing designs based on project requirements and feedback.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD & SolidWorks (mandatory).

Experience: 0-3 years.

Strong knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.

Experience in automation, industrial machinery, or mechanical project design is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
