AutoCAD & SolidWorks Designer

Job Description:

Shikhar Automation Private Limited is seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support our industrial automation and mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and assembly designs while ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Create and modify technical drawings, assembly models, and BOMs for manufacturing.

• Ensure accurate dimensioning, tolerances (GD&T), and material specifications.

• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.

• Review and improve existing designs based on project requirements and feedback.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD & SolidWorks (mandatory).

• Experience: 0-3 years.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.

• Experience in automation, industrial machinery, or mechanical project design is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
