Autocad Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and mark-ups from design and engineering teams.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing records.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design intent is accurately represented.
• Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and diagrams for electrical, mechanical, structural, or architectural projects.
• Assist in site visits or inspections as required to verify dimensions and conditions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and construction principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering, architectural, and construction documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
