Autocad Draftsman

We are a Mumbai-based real estate development firm with in-house design and execution capabilities, seeking an Architectural Draftsman to support our design team and coordinate with external architects across multiple residential redevelopment projects.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and managing architectural drawings in AutoCAD based on design briefs and architect inputs. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage drawing revisions efficiently, and ensure drawing accuracy against regulatory and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and update 2D architectural drawings including floor plans, sections, elevations, and site layouts in AutoCAD

Incorporate revision comments from architects and internal design team into working drawings

Maintain a structured drawing register and version control across projects

Coordinate with external architects on drawing submissions, corrections, and approvals

Extract and verify carpet area statements and FSI calculations from drawings

Assist in preparation of drawings required for MCGM submissions and RERA compliance

Ensure all drawings conform to project specifications and local regulatory standards

Required Skills:

AutoCAD 2D proficient (mandatory; practical test will be conducted)

Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, sections, and schedules

Knowledge of residential building drawing conventions

Basic understanding of FSI, carpet area, and built-up area calculations

Familiarity with Mumbai regulatory drawing requirements (MCGM, RERA) preferred

Organized, with ability to manage multiple drawing sets simultaneously

Good to Have:

SketchUp or Revit exposure

Prior experience with a Mumbai-based developer or architectural firm

B.Arch or Diploma in Architecture

Experience: 25 years
