Job Description
We are seeking Civil & Structural Draftsman with 1-3 years of experience in preparing and developing engineering drawings for Oil & Gas and industrial projects using AutoCAD. Skilled in creating detailed civil and structural drawings including layouts, foundations, grading, drainage, and underground services while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Capable of interpreting engineering designs, coordinating with project teams, and delivering accurate drawings within project timelines.
Requirements
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and develop civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD for Oil & Gas and industrial projects.
- Draft drawings related to foundations, layouts, grading, drainage systems, pavements, and underground services.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, section views, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design sketches, and technical specifications to prepare accurate drafting outputs.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Revise drawings based on engineering comments, design updates, and client feedback.
- Maintain proper drawing documentation, revision control, and drawing registers.
- Support engineering teams in meeting project deliverables and timelines.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for civil and structural drafting.
- Understanding of civil and structural engineering drawings including layouts, foundations, and grading plans.
- Knowledge of industry standards and engineering drafting practices relevant to Oil & Gas projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with drawing revision control and documentation processes.
