AutoCAD draftsman transforms rough sketches, concepts, and specifications from engineers and architects into precise 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints. They play a vital role in executing project designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to revise plans as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Drafting: Develop accurate, detailed 2D and 3D models and blueprints using AutoCAD software.Collaboration: Work directly with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into actionable construction or manufacturing plans.Revisions & Updates: Update existing drawings based on client feedback, field measurements, or changing project scopes and incorporate these modifications efficiently.Quality Assurance: Check dimensions, materials, and tolerances to ensure compliance with safety codes, structural limits, and industry regulations.Documentation: Maintain organized records, drawing files, bills of materials (BOM), and digital drawing libraries for standard project components.Qualifications & SkillsSoftware Proficiency: Advanced, demonstrable experience in AutoCAD; proficiency in other software like Revit or SolidWorks is a strong plus.Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and manufacturing or construction methods.Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, strong time-management to meet tight project deadlines, and excellent communication skills
