About the Role

We are looking for an Associate – Retail Store Draughtsman to support our Design and Project Execution teams in developing accurate and detailed technical drawings for retail stores. The role involves converting design concepts into execution-ready drawings and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, fabricators, and site teams to ensure smooth implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for retail stores, based on design concepts and site requirements.
• Develop floor plans, fixture layouts, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and construction drawings.
• Prepare detailed drawings for store fixtures, display units, cash counters, trial rooms, shelving, and other retail elements.
• Develop shopfront/facade, joinery, fabrication, and execution drawings.
• Coordinate with the Design, Project Execution, and Site teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements.
• Incorporate revisions based on feedback from designers, project managers, vendors, and site teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, contractors, and other stakeholders for drawing-related requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and suitable for fabrication and on-site execution.
• Review site measurements and incorporate them accurately into drawings.
• Maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation in an organized manner.
• Support the team in resolving drawing-related execution issues at sites.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in retail, interior, architecture, or store design/execution.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of retail fixtures, fabrication, materials, and construction details.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience working with vendors, fabricators, contractors, and site teams will be preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Candidates with experience in fashion/apparel retail stores will be preferred.
