Role Description The Autocad Drafter will work full time on-site at the Vadodara manufacturing facility, supporting interior and fit-out projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and architectural layouts for modular furniture and interior spaces. The role involves interpreting design concepts, coordinating with interior designers, project managers, and site engineers, and updating drawings based on feedback and site conditions. The Autocad Drafter will ensure drawings comply with company standards, safety guidelines, and client specifications, and will maintain organized drawing files and documentation. Collaboration with production and installation teams to resolve design and drawing issues is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for interior, furniture, and fit-out projects.
- Ability to create accurate Shop Drawings that support manufacturing and installation processes.
- Experience preparing and modifying Architectural Drawings aligned with project requirements.
- Understanding of Architecture principles relevant to corporate interiors and modular furniture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software; knowledge of 3D tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Civil, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret construction documents, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple drawing tasks within deadlines.
