About the Role
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to create detailed technical drawings for interior, furniture, and custom installation projects. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate, execution-ready drawings while collaborating closely with designers, vendors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, GFCs, elevations, sections, and furniture layouts using AutoCAD.
- Convert design concepts into fabrication-ready and site execution drawings.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with designers, vendors, and project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes and site requirements.
- Assist with site measurements, drawing validation, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and timelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certification in Architecture, Interior Design, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior, furniture, or architectural drafting.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop is an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, joinery, hardware, and construction detailing.
- Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience in furniture detailing, custom fabrication, or educational environments.
- Exposure to coordination with civil, electrical, and plumbing services.
