Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an AutoCAD Designer located in Mumbai. The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for producing accurate architectural and construction drawings, creating designs for modular furniture, and contributing to space planning solutions. The role requires team collaboration as well as independent work to ensure high-quality design outputs that align with project requirements and client specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities of Designers

Preparation of modular furniture Layout, Preparation of typical modular furniture drawing

Preparation of line marking drawing for furniture installation

Exporting Furniture block from software. Taking take off of block for Pricing

Making BOQ as per client requirement. Making proposal for client as per requirement

Complete follow-up of revisions and corrections of drawing. Processing incoming orders to factory as per final proposal

Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timelinessFollow-up with other furniture brand for pricing and drawing

Discussion with Sales team to understand client requirement

Forwarding warranty claim of damage product to factory. Visiting site in case of any urgent requirement

Learning of new brand product and technical details. Coordination with sales person for new Projects

Maintaining all purchase order send to factory for manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings
• Experience with Space Planning and creating layout designs
• Strong Drawing and design skills for creating detailed modular furniture designs in AutoCAD
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for design aesthetics
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and other related tools is a must
• Relevant work experience in furniture or architectural design is an advantage
• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred
