Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer with 2–3 years of experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and capable of creating accurate fabrication, structural, and mechanical drawings while coordinating with engineering and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop fabrication, assembly, GA (General Arrangement), and layout drawings.
- Modify and update drawings based on engineering changes and project requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design inputs.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, site engineers, and project teams.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with company and industry standards.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) when required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Good understanding of mechanical drafting and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of structural and equipment layout drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Designer.
- Experience in mechanical fabrication, industrial projects, or plant engineering is preferred.
