Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Auto Content Creator to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the automotive industry (cars, bikes, heavy vehicles, technology, and trends) and a proven ability to translate complex information into compelling, engaging, and brand-aligned content across our website and social media channels. This role requires expertise in ideation, visual storytelling, scriptwriting, and social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Brainstorm, research, and pitch innovative auto-related content ideas (videos, articles, infographics, short-form reels) that resonate with our target audience and align with marketing goals.

* Stay updated with the latest automotive news, industry trends, and social media platform algorithms/best practices (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to ensure content is timely and relevant.

* Conduct keyword research specific to the automotive and local Kochi/Kerala market to inform content creation and optimize all published materials for maximum search engine visibility.

* Develop detailed storyboards and write engaging, high-impact scripts for all video content, including long-form reviews, product features, and short-form social media reels/shorts.

* Create, edit, and proofread high-quality written content, including website articles, blog posts, press releases, product descriptions, and ad copy.

* Collaborate with the design and video production team (or execute independently, if skills permit) on filming, photography, and video editing to ensure the final output is visually appealing and brand-consistent.

* Oversee the content calendar and publishing schedule for key social media platforms.

* Monitor and actively engage with the online community, responding to comments, DMs, and fostering a positive and interactive brand presence.

Skills & Qualifications

* 23 years of professional experience in content creation within the automotive industry. Familiarity with the Kochi and Kerala auto landscape (local events, regulations, consumer preferences) is highly desirable.

* A strong portfolio showcasing successful content across various formats (video, written, social media).

* Should have the ability to write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content in a voice appropriate for the automotive enthusiast and general consumer.

* Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) is a significant plus.

* Deep understanding of major social media platforms and the ability to create platform-specific content that drives engagement.

* Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, technical experts).
