Authentication and Access Engineer

MSCI Services is looking for an Authentication and Access Engineer to join our Identity and Authentication (IAM) team. This team develops a platform for high-throughput, low-latency authentication and authorization services. In this role, you will be responsible for working with different stakeholders to deliver IAM solution designs that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement strategies for managing digital identities and access permissions.
• Build secure and high-throughput authentication mechanisms using modern protocols.
• Help evolve a complex access management schema.
• Manage the life-cycle of user accounts, including creation, modification, and deactivation.
• Define and enforce access policies to ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to systems and data.
• Work with different stakeholders to deliver IAM solution designs as per business requirements.
• Investigate and resolve any incidents related to identity and access management.
• Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in IAM to enhance security measures continuously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with best practices around Authorizations and Access Management.
• Identity Platform Expertise: AAD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock etc.
• Knowledgeable in Authentication and Authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP etc.
• Experience in one or more languages, preferably Go, Java, Python, NodeJS.
• 10+ years experience designing, building, and managing resilient applications and infrastructure.
