Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Australian Tax Accountant role based in Ghaziabad. The Australian Tax Accountant will prepare and review Australian tax returns and related documentation for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing tax planning activities, reconciling accounts, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and maintaining accurate tax and accounting records. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions, responding to tax queries, and supporting audits or reviews. The accountant will also help improve tax and accounting processes, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian tax legislation, and contribute to timely reporting and filing.

Qualifications

  • Strong tax domain expertise, including Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation skills relevant to Australian tax law.
  • Proficiency in Accounting and the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of Financial Statements.
  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Australian tax regulations and ATO requirements.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex tax and accounting issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort with using accounting and tax software; familiarity with cloud-based tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
