Job Description:
We need an experienced Insurance Specialist who can take care of clients and manage insurance portfolios well. This job also involves making sure our office runs smoothly. You should have at least 4 years of experience in Australian insurance and a good understanding of insurance products, rules, and market trends. Your main role will be to serve clients and handle portfolios effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate insurance placements and cancellations.
Maintain transaction data entry.
Issue clients with essential documents such as the Financial Services Guide.
Provide ongoing advice and support to clients through calls and correspondence.
Conduct interviews with prospective and existing clients to develop insurance strategies and recommendations.
Oversee clerical and broker assistant staff, ensuring smooth office operations.
Manage staff training, both internal and external.
Maintain, develop, and coordinate practice systems and procedures.
Schedule client appointments and maintain insurance schedules.
Handle client complaints and inquiries effectively.
Ensure compliance with ASIC regulations, including conducting compliance reviews and coordinating annual ASIC returns.
Play a vital role in disaster recovery planning and IT coordination, including data backups.
Stay updated on the latest software applications and technology for the practice's efficient operation.
Your contributions are essential to maintaining the practice's efficiency and ensuring clients receive exceptional service and compliance with industry regulations.
Experience in a client focused role.
Extensive experience in an insurance broking technical role min 3yrs
Experience in an insurance broking business development role

Qualifications:
Tier 1 qualification (ANZIIF) minimum requirement
Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) - preferred
Degree qualified (business/finance/marketing/) optional
Prepared to undertake study to obtain SPA3 from National Insurance Brokers
