Auditorium & Seminar Hall Incharge
Job Summary:
The Auditorium & Seminar Hall Incharge will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and smooth operation of the institution's auditorium and seminar halls. The role ensures that all facilities are fully functional, well-maintained, and prepared for academic, cultural, and institutional events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the auditorium and seminar halls.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all technical equipment, including sound systems, projectors, lighting, and audio-visual aids.
- Set up venues as per event requirements (seating arrangements, equipment setup, etc.).
- Coordinate with departments regarding event schedules, requirements, and logistics.
- Monitor booking schedules and ensure halls are used only with proper approvals.
- Provide on-site technical support during events and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and overall upkeep of the facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment and infrastructure conditions.
- Supervise the halls during non-operational hours to ensure security and prevent misuse or damage.
- Assist in planning and executing institutional events held in these venues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, scheduling tools, etc.).
- Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and technical setup.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work during events.
- Problem-solving skills for technical troubleshooting.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in facility management, event support, or technical operations
