Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
Years of experience: 510 yrs.
Nature of experience:
.Exposure of (4-wheeler / 2-Wheeler) & Automotive products
.Basic knowledge of major manufacturing processes like welding / pressing / machining casting / molding / Heat treatment.
.Work as an internal auditor / certified lead auditor for QMS
Job Role:
.Plan & execute Audit of Procedure & Systems for Quality Management of the supplier's organization.
.Identify weak areas related to QMS.
.Guide suppliers to build robust systems based on best practices being followed in the industry to improve adherence.
.Improvement of weak areas and re-audit for confirmation.
.Thorough understanding of Quality Management Tools like PFMEA, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, QFD, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, 8D etc.
.Organize & Conduct training sessions on QMS for Suppliers
.Plan and coordinate with other departments for getting the necessary quality inputs for required suppliers.
.Regularly compile best practices related to QMS being followed at various suppliers and OEMs.
.Engage and involve in supplier performance data analysis.
.Take lead in developing quality assurance strategies based on current challenges.
Competency Required:
a.Technical/Functional:
.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
.Internal Auditor certification course for ISO 9001 / IATF- 16949.
.Knowledge of Quality Management Tools & Statistical techniques like SPC/ MSA/ FMEA/ PPAP/ APQP.
.Awareness about the latest updates on best in class industry practices.
