Key Responsibilities
- Perform vouching of transactions (purchase, sales, expenses, journal vouchers, bank entries, etc.)
- Verify supporting documents like invoices, bills, receipts, agreements, and approvals
- Check the correctness of accounting entries as per company policy and accounting standards
- Ensure proper authorization of all financial transactions
- Reconcile vouchers with system entries
- Identify and report errors, mismatches, and control gaps
- Assist in the preparation of internal audit reports
- Maintain audit working papers and documentation
- Support statutory audit and management audit work
- Follow internal control procedures and the audit checklist
