Job Description

Department: Audit and Assurance

Designation: Associate/Senior Associate - Fresher

Qualification/Experience: CA Semi-qualified/ACCA professional level candidate/CA Drop out/B.com or M.com. having experience in accounting.

Location: Reporting to Thane Wagle Estate Office, Travelling to client location for audit.

Skill-sets Required

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Accounting and auditing (including finalization of accounts and schedules).
  • Analytical and problem solving Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Strong Documentation and report writing skills.
  • Basics of MS Excel/MS PowerPoint/ MS Word
  • Working knowledge of Tally/Zoho/any other accounting software.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Basics of taxation-Direct and Indirect taxes
  • Working knowledge of Compliances like GST/TDS/TCS/PF/ESIC/Gratuity etc.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate / Article Assistant to join our Audit & Assurance Department. The candidate will be involved in Internal Audits, Statutory Audits, and Tax Audit across various industries. This role offers excellent exposure to audit methodologies, financial reporting, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit

  • Conduct internal audit assignments as per approved Scoped audit plans by visiting client location and co-ordination with the client.
  • Review internal controls, operational processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and operational risks.
  • Prepare audit working papers, observations, and audit reports.
  • Assist in developing recommendations for process improvements.

Statutory Audit

  • Assist in planning and execution of statutory audits of companies and LLPs.
  • Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures by visiting client location and co-ordination with the client.
  • Review of Financial Statement disclosures as per Applicable Accounting standards and Schedule III to the Companies Act.
  • Verify financial records, supporting documents, and accounting entries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Companies Act provisions, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare audit documentation, deliverables and schedules.
