Job description
We're a Bengaluru-based CA firm looking for Audit Assistants to join our audit division. You'll work on statutory audits of private limited companies - either handling assignments yourself or reviewing work done by juniors and presenting findings to managers and partners. Client interaction is a regular part of the job, so good communication matters as much as technical ability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting and reviewing statutory audits of private limited companies across sectors
- Handling audit areas including revenue, payroll, expenses, cash and bank, and capitalisation
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with applicable GAAP and Accounting Standards
- Ensuring compliance with Standards on Auditing (SAs) during fieldwork and documentation
- Reviewing TDS and GST compliance as part of audit procedures
- Assisting in tax audits (Form 3CD) and GST audits
- Presenting audit observations and findings to managers, partners, and clients on video calls
- Drafting clear, professional client communications and audit correspondence
What We're Looking For
- CA (finalist) or CA Inter with articleship experience in statutory audit
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, audit standards, TDS, and GST
- Hands-on experience with audits of private limited companies
- Comfortable with client-facing interactions - both over email and on video calls
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments
